The Humanities and Teacher Education Division at Pepperdine focuses mainly on Western/European culture, history and art and is taught almost exclusively by white professors. Students and faculty both said they want to see more diversity in curriculum as well as in faculty.

With last year’s event canceled, International Programs made a grand homecoming with this year’s Return. IP alumni shared stories of their experiences abroad with first-year students, competed in the traditional tug-o-war competition and watched their program videos, all while enjoying meals from food trucks.
