After a joyous celebration of the seniors, Pepperdine’s Men’s Basketball Team struggled to gain ground and lost to Santa Clara, Feb. 24. The Waves reflect on a season of growing and leadership hoping to build on this season for next year.

Men’s Basketball received their first conference win of the season after defeating Pacific on Feb. 5, the same team they played Feb. 3. Led by freshman forward Maxwell Lewis, the Waves held off the Tigers this time and snapped their nine game losing streak.
Men’s Basketball lost their sixth game two days after their thriller overtime loss to LMU. The team has another chance versus San Diego on Jan. 27.
After a string of losses, Pepperdine’s Men’s Basketball Team hoped to secure a win against the Portland Pilots. The Waves were unable to gain headway and lost 82-63.
Pepperdine Men’s Basketball defeated Portland 80–65 in their first home game in 25 days. Kessler Edwards had a prolific night on both ends of the floor for the Waves.
Pepperdine Men’s Basketball will take the court at the end of 2020 after COVID-19 dominated their offseason. Dynamic senior Colbey Ross leads an experienced Waves squad expecting to make an impact in the WCC.
