Going to school in Malibu has more perks than just its sandy beaches and sunny climate. Many students get the opportunity to work in some of the trendiest stores, shops and restaurants in all of LA county, with celebrity sightings and free gear to supplement their working experience.
Being in Malibu makes Pepperdine a unique college in many ways, one of which is its proximity to celebrities. Students Shelby Schering and Emily Piccirillo discuss some of their own celebrity encounters and how they’ve handled them.
