Despite missing several players, No. 6 Pepperdine Women’s Tennis made easy work of No. 58 BYU at home in their first WCC match of the season. The Waves’ 7-0 win took them to a 9-3 mark for the season.
The No. 7 Pepperdine Women’s Tennis program opened the ITA Kick-Off Weekend in dominant fashion Jan. 29, defeating Columbia 4-0 in the first-ever meeting between the schools. The team bested Norte Dame the next day in the second round of play.
Waves Women’s Tennis played three top-six teams in the country at ITA Indoors, advancing to the semifinals. Despite being without No. 1 Ashley Lahey, newcomers stepped up for Pepperdine.
