Pepperdine Women’s Soccer faced off with the University of San Francisco on Nov. 9 at Tari Frahm Rokus Field for their final conference game of the season.

Redshirt junior Tabitha LaParl, redshirt sophomore Kyra Murphy and junior Tatum Wynalda scored Pepperdine’s three goals on the Waves’ 20 shots, according to Pepperdine Athletics.

LaParl took the lead early for the Waves within the first five minutes. Murphy and Wynalda found the back of the net in the second half of the game.

The Waves ended conference play with a 6-1-3 record and a 12-3-5 overall record.

Pepperdine Women’s Soccer has now won their fifth WCC title, and their first since 2017. Head Coach Tim Ward, who is in his 27th season of leading the Waves, has enjoyed all five of Pepperdine’s five WCC titles.

The Waves share the title with Santa Clara University and will face University of California, Berkeley in the first round of the NCAA Championships on Nov. 16 at Tari Frahm Rokus Field.
