No.19 Pepperdine Women’s Soccer defeated South Dakota State 7-1 in the first round of the 2021 NCAA College Cup on Saturday, Nov. 13. The Waves will play North Carolina State in the second round Nov. 19.
Pepperdine’s Advancement Office continues to advance Pepperdine’s strategic plan through fundraising and advancement projects. Projects in the works include a new scoreboard for the soccer field and baseball stadium, as well as continued development of the Chateau d’Hauteville in Vevay, Switzerland.

Eight Pepperdine athletes competed in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Three alumna earned medals at the games in women’s soccer, women’s tennis and women’s volleyball — the most female Pepperdine medalists in a single Olympics to date.
Despite having the majority of the chances, Pepperdine Women’s Soccer came up short in a key match against BYU. The loss dropped the Waves to third in the WCC and severely dented their NCAA Tournament hopes.
