Class of 2024 Parents Raise Concerns Regarding Year 2 Welcome

Only about a third of Pepperdine’s rising sophomores will attend the Year 2 Welcome retreat, which begins Aug. 20. Parents cited the $1,500 price tag as an issue and petitioned the administration for an on-campus orientation for those students not attending the retreat.

Spring admits and transfer students reflect on the digital start to their time at Pepperdine, hoping for a mid-semester reopening of campus and virtual opportunities to grow their faith.
