Pepperdine Baseball won two of three at home against Saint Mary’s College to move to 4-2 in WCC play. Pitching and defense led the way for the Waves, which had not been the case this season until this week.

The Pepperdine Men’s Baseball team had their first sweep of the season with a defensive battle, offensive spectacle and a late rally versus the University of California, Davis.
The Waves fell short on offense against CSUN, totaling only five hits throughout the nine innings.
Despite a slow offensive start against New Mexico and only managed one hit throughout the first five innings, a monster rally by the Waves leads them to victory.
The Waves drop to 5-8 on the season, with a home-and-away series against Cal State Northridge beginning Friday, March 9.
