Pepperdine Baseball (14-9) capped off a series sweep with a 5-3 win against University of the Pacific on March 27, at Eddy D. Field Stadium in Malibu. It was the Waves first sweep in WCC play of the season.
Pepperdine Baseball won two of three at home against Saint Mary’s College to move to 4-2 in WCC play. Pitching and defense led the way for the Waves, which had not been the case this season until this week.
Pepperdine was unable to hang with the nationally-ranked Gauchos, losing all four games over the weekend. Bright spots for the Waves included a two-homer day from Reese Alexiades and strong relief appearances from freshman Brandon Llewellyn.
