Recipe of the Week: Chesspie

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons cornmeal
  • 3 tablespoons cream
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Directions:
1. Cream the butter and sugar together
2. Add all other ingredients
3. Mix thoroughly together
4. Pour into a raw pie crust
5. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes
6. Lower oven temperature to 325
7. Bake for an additional 35 minutes
8. Cool before serving
