Firefighters extinguished a blaze in the 22300 block of Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu late Wednesday evening. Authorities received a call around 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 12, that reported a structure fire at 22356 PCH.

Firefighters were on scene near Louis T. Busch Associates Real Estate, and extinguished the fire around 9:30 p.m., according to Lt. Michael Williams.

As of 9:30 p.m., both northbound lanes in front of the structure were closed. Traffic was diverted through the center median. The fire caused moderate traffic delays on the highway. As of 11 p.m., all lanes of PCH were reopened in both directions, according to Williams.

There were no fatalities. The cause of the fire was accidental, officials said.
