Update: Sepulveda Pass fire reaches 40 percent containment

UPDATED: Sept. 15 at 9:28 a.m. More than 70 acres were burned in what is believed to be a brush fire that started around 4:00 pm on Sept. 14, on the east side of the 405 freeway near Getty Center Drive, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The fire brought the 405 freeway to a standstill Friday afternoon and called for a voluntary evacuation of the Getty Center.
