Pepperdine student Brie Gabrielle named Miss California 1st runner-up

Pepperdine senior Brie Gabrielle was named Miss California 1st runner up Sunday night at Indian Wells. Nearly 300 contestants competed in the competition, with Natalie Pack of Los Angeles/Newport Beach claiming the crown as Miss California USA 2012. Gabrielle was named Miss Malibu this fall. Sewage backup floods Villa Malibu apartments

Residents of Villa Malibu may return from winter break to find their apartments had been flooded by a sewage backup last Friday.
