No. 9 Women’s Soccer lost 4-0 to No. 1 UCLA in the last game of its out-of-conference schedule. The Waves, now 6-1-2, said they see the game as an opportunity for growth.

Coming off a 2-2 draw against LSU on Aug. 25, No. 14 Women’s Soccer put themselves back in the win column with a 4-0 shutout of San Diego State University. The Waves are 3-0-1 to start the season.
With Los Angeles acting as host to this year’s Super Bowl, Pepperdine hosted the 22nd Annual Celebrity Sweat Flag Football Challenge. Team T-Mac defeated Team Flutie and musician Tory Lanez was the MVP of the game.
Pepperdine completes its fourth shutout of the season against UC Santa Barbara on Sunday afternoon. The Waves took control of the game early and continue their hot start to the season.
Pepperdine Women’s Soccer has taken the field again for the 2021 season, and is off to a 5-1-0 start. The team looks to build off their success moving forward, while also staying true to their guiding principles.
