After a joyous celebration of the seniors, Pepperdine’s Men’s Basketball Team struggled to gain ground and lost to Santa Clara, Feb. 24. The Waves reflect on a season of growing and leadership hoping to build on this season for next year.
In their WCC home opener, Men’s Basketball lost 72-62 against the University of San Diego. The Waves lagged behind the Toreros for most of the game, and were unable to secure the points necessary to close the gap.
Men’s Basketball won their home opener Nov. 13 against Idaho State 65-60. The team looks to take advantage of a three game home stand in the early part of the season.
Junior forward Kessler Edwards led all scorers with 37 points and Pepperdine Men’s Basketball annihilated Pacific 85-68 on Jan. 21. The Waves led by as many as 35 in a complete effort, their second consecutive home win.
