Moving their unbeaten streak to four after a pair of home matches this past weekend, the Pepperdine Women’s Soccer Team (3-1-2) will be on the road this weekend.

This Friday, the Waves will battle against the No. 18 University of Kansas Jayhawks, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. (PST).  The Jayhawks are 4-1 and are coming off an impressive two-win weekend, which included an upset over then No. 12 Duke University.

After that match concludes, the Waves will play another match this Sunday against the Sun Devils of Arizona State University, with the start-time set for 5 p.m (PST).  The Sun Devils are 4-1-1 and just like the Jayhawks, they won their two matches over the previous weekend.  All four of their wins have come via the shutout.

While at home this past weekend, the Waves won one match and tied the other.  Last Friday, the Waves dominated the match from start to finish and easily handled the visiting Golden Hurricane of Tulsa University 3-1. Then, on Sunday, Big-Ten member University of Wisconsin scored an early goal, before allowing one in the last ten minutes of the match, which resulted in the 1-1 tie.

The next chance to see these soccer girls in action will be next Friday afternoon (Sept. 22) when they will battle the Aztecs of San Diego State University.  Game time is set for 3 p.m. (PST) at the Tari Frahm Rokus Field.
