Water main breaks on PCH

March 22, 2011 by Kayla Ferguson

A water main broke at the 20000 block of PCH around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning near Moonshadows Bar and Grill.

The incident was caused by a trash truck backing into the hydrant and shearing it off the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported to KTLA.

Traffic was backed up for approximately three miles in both directions as a result of water accumulation and redirected traffic.
