VIDEO: Statue dedication honors Pep's namesake

The George Pepperdine statue and “Barney’s Bench” were unveiled Wednesday at Joslyn Plaza on the Malibu campus proving that the spirit of the University’s namesake remains alive and well on campus. The dedication ceremony included speaker David Baird Seaver College dean emeritus recognition of the artist and George Pepperdine’s descendents and the unveiling by the SGA and SAO Presidents Greg Lee and Genna Jones.
