Men’s golf places 13th
In its first play of the season, the Husky Invitational, men’s golf finished 13th out of the 15 participating teams. The tournament took place at the Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bermerton, Wash., Sept. 16 and 17. The Waves settled above Pacific and Utah with a team score of 29-over at 893. Racquet Success
The women’s tennis team opened strongly at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational this weekend in Midland, Texas. The Waves began the tournament victorious in nine of the 11 matches. Freshman Yuki Chiang began the round of 32 with a victory over No. 103-ranked junior Simona Parajova (Texas Christian). It marked her first win against a ranked opponent.
