Surf report

September 22, 2005 by Pepperdine Graphic

GARRETT WAIT
Sports Editor

The week’s forecast is just average for Southland beaches, so you may want to stash your board for a while and wait it out.

Today should be three to four feet for most of the day with waist to shoulder high waves and occasional seven foot swells coming in.

Friday will be much the same as today with fair conditions ruling the beaches and waist high waves becoming the norm for the day.

Saturday is looking a lot like Friday as more fair conditions and three to four foot waves dominate the surf with occasional shoulder high sets rolling in.

Sunday may be the worst day of the week as waves drop in size. Five feet will be the absolute maximum Sunday with two to four feet being the norm.

Monday will continue the downward trend with modest two to four foot waves rolling all day long.

Tuesday will see good conditions but still mediocre waves with waist high rollers coming in.

Wednesday could see a slight upshift, but still on the three to four frrt shoulder high sets returning.
