Peppers Hall and Hayes Hall took home first place at the 2014 Frosh Follies event Saturday night at Firestone Fieldhouse with a skit reenacting the story of the Pepperdine rock.

The theme for the event was iconic Pepperdine folklore such as “ring before spring,” Willie the Wave’s story and the mystery of house No. 9.

The winning team also received first place for best chant, earning House Cup points and a pool party. The competition featured team chants and seven-minute skits performed by six teams of freshmen students.
