We all knew surfing was a favorite pastime for many Pepperdine students. So it should come as no surprise the Pepperdine was recently listed as one of the 2011 Top 10 Surf Colleges this week in Surfer Magazine.
It is also not surprising that 7 of the 10 colleges are on the California coast with the top spot being awarded to the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego; University of California at Santa Cruz; California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo; San Diego State University; and University California at San Diego also made the list according to KTLA.
Pepperdine was named the top for long boarding.
