'One Day on Earth' screening comes to Los Angeles

April 19, 2012 by Kayla Ferguson

On November 11, 2011—11.11.11—filmmakers from around the world recorded the human experience over a 24-hour time period for the second annual global day of media creation called One Day on Earth. The first global day of media creation was filmed October 10, 20120—10.10.10—and was the first ever simultaneous filming event occurring in every country of the world. The support it garnered, and the simply originality of such a film, inspired the One Day on Earth creators to continue the trend in 2011.

And all the hard work is paying off this Earth day, April 22, 2012. The One Day on Earth creators have arranged a Los Angeles screening taking place April 22 at the Chinese 6 Mann theater in Hollywood at 4 p.m. In order to secure the theater, 75 pre-sale tickets needed to be sold by April 18. The pre-sale ticket requirement was not an issue as the Los Angeles event is currently sold out.
