The dress the actress had planned to wear was stolen from designer Scott Henshall’s car in London last Wednesday. Jewelry, accessories and other gowns were lifted from the designer’s car while it was parked in Knightsbridge, a high-class area of town.

“There is no way I can remake Angelina’s or any other dresses in time,” Henshall said in a CNN interview. “There were 20 outfits in the collection and now the nine most glamorous have gone.”

‘Superman’ hits more casting roadblocks

Warner Bros. Pictures’ attempt to make “Superman” fly can’t seem to get off the ground.

Brett Ratner, the movie’s former director, announced last Wednesday that he would no longer be directing the film.

“The difficulty in casting the role of Superman has contributed to my decision,” he said in a statement that evening.

Ratner is signed to make “Rush Hour 3” for New Line Cinema sometime next year. Meanwhile, Warner Bros. is left with neither a leading man nor a director. The company still plans to move forward with the film, however.

‘Dark Side’ celebrates 30th anniversary

The complete makeover of a classic album only comes once in a blue moon.

'Dark Side of the Moon' turns 30.That’s why the 30th anniversary of “Dark Side of the Moon” has Pink Floyd fans so excited. EMI has released a 5.1 surround-sound version of the record-breaking album. James Guthrie, long-time Floyd producer, remastered “Dark Side” to make full use of five speakers and a subwoofer. Guthrie went back to original recordings to make guitars, percussion and vocals come directly at the listener from all directions.

“We felt that the musical content should be consistent and faithful to the original stereo mix,” Guthrie told Rolling Stone. “I did not want to turn this into a video game.”
