Ion Sports looks for new host

Ion Sports recently launched their ‘The New Face of Ion’ contest and are looking for college-age applicants to post personal footage indicating why they would be the best host for the Ion Sports channel according to a recent Ion Sports press release.

The contest is interactive and allows viewers to watch other submissions and rate each video one a scale of one to five stars.

The candidate with the highest rating on January 1 2011 has the chance to be the New Face of Ion. Once a host is officially selected they will potentially have the opportunity to attend and record content at various sporting events do celebrity interviews on the ‘purple carpet’ and report recent sports business news on a website that receives more than one million hits per month according to the press release.

To make submissions to the contest follow the steps listed below.

1) Check out the Ion Sports channels under the ‘Sports’ tab at http://IonSports.com.

2) Visit http://connect.ions.com/video/video/newWithUploader and create a

connect.IONS account.

3) Upload a video of yourself and title it ‘New Face of Ion Contest – your first and last

name.

4) Share your video link on http://facebook.com/IonSports and send it to all of your

friends to vote.

5) Wait until January 1 2011 to see if you are the New Face of Ion.
