During a warm August week before the start of school, RAs rallied their troops and took the new class of Pepperdine students under their wings. With a few days of tough practice, Saturday night finally arrived, and the freshmen were gently prodded onto the Frosh Follies stage for their performances.
A longstanding Pepperdine tradition, Frosh Follies showcases six groups. A little singing, a little acting and a little dancing brought this year’s superheroes theme to life. And what contest isn’t complete without a little healthy competition? The six groups battled bravely, but only one would end the night with victory.
After all the acts put their best caped crusaders forward, the judges began to deliberate. Who would win Frosh Follies 2012?
This year, the group that put up the hardest fight consisted of freshmen from Miller, DeBell and Banowsky. The victorious group took on the superhero challenge with a Batman themed production.
