Four Pepp basketball players receive high honors

July 11, 2011 by Pepperdine Graphic

Gus Clardy, Taylor Darby, Don Martin and Corbin Moore were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court today for their outstanding academic performance, according to Boxscore News.

To qualify for the Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or a senior, have spent at least one year at their respective institution, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better.

Clardy graduated this past May having played in 87 games, more than any other walk-on in school history. Darby, Martin, and Moore will all be seniors and were all West Coast Conference All-Academic first team selections this past season.
