Faye McClure named to the University's Board of Regents

Malibu, Ca.–Faye McClure, vice president of strategic marketing for Farmers Insurance Group, was appointed to Pepperdine University’s Board of Regents during its June 12, 2012  meeting in Malibu, California, according to a University press release. The appointment is effective July 1.

McClure received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine’s Seaver College in 1978 and has been an active member of the Pepperdine community since 2005, serving on the Graziadio School Board of Visitors.

“Faye McClure is an extraordinary individual,” said Pepperdine President Andrew K. Benton in the press release. “She represents so many of the best qualities we hope for in our alumni – leadership, a heart for service, and an on-going commitment to our students. We are grateful she is joining us on Pepperdine’s Board of Regents.”

McClure is a recipient of the Los Angeles Sparks’ Lisa Leslie Inspiring Women Award, an award that celebrates the women who uplift and inspire us. Additionally, she was named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America for 2012 by Savoy magazine.
