Property Damage – Non-Criminal

Location: Mariposa Circle

Summary: A report of fire sprinkler valve leaking. The valve appeared to be either kicked or possibly a young child had climbed on it and accidently broke off a small relief valve.

3/30/11 10:17 p.m.

Code of Conduct – Possession of Alcohol/Drunk

Location: Lovernich Student Apartments

Summary: DPS responded to investigate a report of multiple students drinking alcoholic beverages in a dorm room.

4/1/11 1:29 p.m.

Incident – Suspicious Person

Location: Tyler Campus Center

Summary: Report of a suspicious person. A DPS officer contacted the individual. The person was warned for trespassing on private property and escorted off campus.

Larceny – Theft – Petty Theft

Location: Facilities Management and Planning

Summary: A staff member reported leaving a confidential document in a shuttle bus. When they returned it was gone.

Investigation

Location: Eddy Field Baseball Stadium

Summary: A student reported an unauthorized person on campus. Public Safety officers searched the area and were unable to locate the suspect or their vehicle.

Code of Conduct – Petty Theft

Location: Rho Parking Lot

Summary: Cab driver reported that a student departed without paying their fare. DPS officers responded but were unable to locate the student.

Service – Animal Call

Location: Hall 8 – Aileen T. Pauley

Summary: A student reported seeing a mountain lion outside their dorm.

4/4/11 5:10 a.m.

Trespass – All Other Trespassing

Location: Rho Parking Lot

Summary: DPS entrance booth officer reported a trespassing suspect entered campus through Seaver booth. DPS officers responded and made contact with the individual in the Rho lot. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded and arrested the suspect for violating a previous trespassing warning.
