9/27/10 2:00 p.m. 

Parking- Wheel Lock 

Location: Main Lot

Summary: An unregistered vehicle with multiple parking citations was parked illegally. The vehicle was then cited and wheel locked for identification purposes.

Departmental- Information Only 

Location: Off Campus Location 

Summary: The UC Santa Barbara Police Department reported that a Pepperdine student under the influence of alcohol fell 40 feet off a coastal bluff.  Medical personnel responded and the student was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for an injured back and leg.

Larceny- Petty Theft 

Location: Rockwell Towers

Summary: A faculty member reported that her purse was missing from her office. The purse was later returned by a student but some of its contents were missing.  

 

9/29/10 8:02 p.m. 

Traffic- Vehicle Accident 

Location: Seaver Drive 

Summary: A student accidently crashed a vehicle into a deer crossing the road. Moderate damage was reported. 

 

10/1/10 3:41 a.m. 

Disturbance- Loud Noise 

Location: Alumni Park 

Summary: A Malibu Country Estate resident reported a noise complaint. Public Safety officers responded and contacted four individuals not affiliated with Pepperdine for being in possession of alcoholic beverages. The individuals were warned for trespassing on private property and escorted off campus.

Summary: A staff member reported suspicious circumstances involving a person not affiliated with Pepperdine that needs psychological assistance.

Summary: Mail services reported receiving a pellet gun that was addressed to a student.
