Men's volleyball suffers fourth loss
The No. 4 UCLA Bruins (7-2) swept the No. 8 Men's Volleyball team (2-4) 3-0 on Jan. 26 at UCLA their first victory over the Waves since February 2008. Sophomore Maurice Torres scored 18 points during the match with 13 kills during the match. Fewer than two months after returning from the youth Olympics in Singapore as the coach of the women's volleyball team Rod Wilde agreed to temporarily take the position as assistant volleyball coach of the men's volleyball team at Pepperdine where he was once a standout himself.
