Waves pound Long Beach in scrimmage victory

The Pepperdine baseball team pounded 11 hits and capitalized on six Dirtbag errors to notch a 14-3 home victory in 10 innings against Long Beach State on Sunday afternoon. Swimmers place fifth at UC Irvine

The Waves' swimming and diving team finished in 5th place last weekend at the UC Irvine Anteater Shootout. After the masterpiece that was "Casino Royale not even die-hard fans expected Quantum of Solace" (directed by Marc Forster "Kite Runner") to compare. Yet they did not expect it to be a disappointment either. Although the action was impressive that was all the film had to offer.
