Longtime Pepperdine University supporter dies

Dorothy Stotsenberg a Malibu resident and long time supporter of Pepperdine University died at the age of 97 on Friday Feb. 25. Possible Banksy work appears in Oceanside

After coming within minutes of Pepperdine earlier this week British graffiti artist Banksy appears to be working his way down the Southern California coast tagging a taco shop in Oceanside sometime overnight. To see video of the game click here. Pepperdine's No. 9 ranked Men's Volleyball team fell to No. 6 Long Beach State on Wednesday Feb. 24 losing three straight sets (25-13 25-22 25-17). The Waves fell to 5-7 overall and 3-7 in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. Pepperdine's flag flew at half-mast this week in memory of a beloved member of the Pepperdine family. Mary Drehsel a mainstay of Pepperdine's Heidelberg program died in the early hours of Tuesday morning after an 18-year-long battle with cancer.
