4.0 magnitude earthquake strikes off coast of Malibu

A 4.0 earthquake stroked 30 miles off the Malibu coast on Tuesday night, almost immediately after a 2.3 magnitude earthquake struck around 10:14 p.m., according to the LA Times. Lausanne Program Director Mary Mayenfisch-Tobin has been let go from Pepperdine University. International Programs Director Jeff Hamilton confirmed the move earlier Tuesday afternon.
