75 – Confirmed death toll of coalition members. 45 of these deaths were American soldiers.

420 – Civilians Iraq says have died since the U.S.-led invasion began March 19. The Iraqi government says additional hundreds have been wounded. The numbers remain unverified.

22 – Coalition soldiers either held as prisoners of war or listed as missing in action.

$166 million – Amount of funds the United Nations Children’s Fund says is necessary to prevent an Iraqi nutrition crisis. The country is expected to run out of food by May.

3.6 – Percentage increase of the NASDAQ composite Wednesday after almost a week of losses, as many investors were told the war may end sooner than expected.

10,000 – Approximate number of precision-guided weapons dropped on Iraq by coalition forces as of Wednesday.

4,000 – Estimated Iraqi POWs held by coalition forces.
