Recipe of the Week: Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • – 3 ripe bananas
  • –1 cup sugar
  • –1 egg
  • –4 tablespoons melted butter
  • –1 ½ cups flour
  • –1 teaspoon salt
  • –1 teaspoon baking soda

* Feel free to add any additional nuts or spices to add your own unique flavor.

 

Directions:

1.Preheat oven to 325°F.

2.Grease a 9×5 pan with non-stick spray.

3.Mash the bananas and then beat in sugar until incorporated.

4. Add eggs and melted butter to bananas and sugar.

5. In a separate bowl, stir together the salt, baking soda, and flour.

6. Add banana mixture to the dry ingredient mixture and stir until batter is moist.

5.Put batter into greased pan and cook for 55-60 minutes.
