Waves sweep Cougars

The sophomore starting pitcher duo of Matt Bywater and Scott Alexander combined to strike out 21 Cougars as the No.-12 Waves swept Washington State in two games 3-1 and 5-2 Tuesday and Wednesday at Eddy D. Lodge sets third school record at Northridge

In only the fourth meet of the season freshman Lauren Lodge broke her third school record this time in the 3000-meter run Saturday at the Cal State Northridge Relays.With a time of 10:05.44 Lodge placed first ahead of 13 other runners and beat the past record of 10:21.15 held by then-junior Courtney Young. Volleyball team rolls over Patriots

On Saturday the No.-3 Pepperdine men's volleyball team toppled the George Mason Patriots in three straight games 30-27 30-22 and 30-23 at Firestone Fieldhouse.
