Waves anticipate Founder’s Day

September 18, 2012 by Whitney Irick

The annual Founder’s Day celebration will take place on Wednesday. As Pepperdine’s 75th anniversary comes to a close, this Founder’s Day itinerary will feature the return of a George Pepperdine College icon: “Dolores.” When the historic statue returns to campus on Sept. 19, she will appear in her original 1941 form. Greeks: buy your friends, sell your souls

September 17, 2012 by Grace Stearns

Dear Grace,  Greek recruitment is so shallow. I believe it is a superficial tool of the devil that beguiles students into squandering money that might be better used if donated toward the Lord’s Kingdom. What are the most effective ways through which I might spread the word this rush week? Sincerely, Sophomore Prophet Dear Sophomore Prophet, While I don’t necessarily agree … [Read more...] about Greeks: buy your friends, sell your souls
