HEIGHT – 6’0”

POSITION – No. 4 singles, No. 2 doubles

WHAT HE DID – Doerner, a freshman, went 2-0 last weekend, with key victories in the Waves’ upsets over Duke and Georgia. Against Duke, Doerner battled back from a set down to secure a must-have match in dominant fashion, 6-7, 6-3, 6-1.

OFF THE COURT – Doerner likes to relax and watch sports — he says any free time is time to take it easy.

FAVORITE MOVIE – The Matrix

FAVORITE FOOD – His girlfriend’s mom’s cooking (back home in Australia).
