Opinion: The Graphic Predicts Week 7 of the ’25 NFL Season

October 19, 2025 by Marcos Lizarraga

Art by Cara Tang

This past week, divisions were led by unexpected teams, and the margin for error is getting smaller by the week.

However, Monday night brought us some of the most exciting games of Week 6. The Atlanta Falcons hosted the Buffalo Bills, and the Chicago Bears went on the road to face the Washington Commanders.

In Atlanta, the game was dominated by Bijan Robinson and Drake London. Robinson pummeled the Bills for 238 scrimmage yards, including an 81-yard touchdown, while London torched the secondary with 10 catches for 158 yards, according to ESPN.

With the loss, the once unstoppable-looking Bills dropped to 4–2, and because of last week’s defeat to the New England Patriots, the Patriots now sit atop the AFC East — just as we all predicted.

Over in Maryland, the Bears and Commanders traded blows in a back-and-forth thriller, with Chicago edging out Washington 25–24 on a game-winning 38-yard field goal from Jake Moody.

Turnovers plagued the Commanders all night, as quarterback Jayden Daniels threw his first interception of the year and lost a fumble that set up Chicago’s decisive drive, according to ESPN. After starting the season 0–2, the Bears have now won three straight, keeping pace in one of football’s toughest divisions—the NFC North.
