Alumna donates record $3 million to School of Law

$3 million can buy a 6000 square foot house, multiple Lamborghinis, or cover the cost of courtside seats at a Laker game for four generations.

Recently, Pepperdine alumna Laure Sudreau-Rippe decided to use $3 million to give back to her alma mater and establish the Laure Sudreau-Rippe Endowed Chair at the School of Law.

Sudreau-Rippe’s local paper in Westport, Conn., Wesportnow.com, wrote “on the surface, it seems like an unlikely match: a conservative, Christian, mostly Republican university and a woman who describes herself as ‘a Democrat, liberal, and I’m Jewish.’ā€
