When I glanced at the title of the Moore Haus article in the Graphic, I was shocked. $5 million for renovations seems extreme with all of the housing drama on campus and the constant need for financial aid. Reading that those who are working on this campaign hope to take a large group to Heidelberg to celebrate the renovations seems unnecessary. However, after reading the article I now understand why the renovations to the Moore Haus are needed. I am glad the Graphic has brought this to our attention, because I think it is important that we know how the university is spending its money and what certain fundraising campaigns are working.
