Pepperdine’s TV 32 is ready for a new season, bringing back the old shows as well as new ones. This spring’s theme, “more than just black & white,” reflects upon the diversity of the shows and what it is to come. Shows such as “Newswaves,” “The Beacon,” “The Randumb Show” and “Buenas Noches Pepperdine” come back for another season. But this semester is marked by the beginning of a new show, “The Gallery” and the comeback of morning show “Good Morning Malibu” with a new look and format.

Check below details of all the shows:
“Good Morning Malibu” — a bi-monthly morning news-magazine format show with four predominant hosts debating current events, lifestyle, sports, art and culture. It is a show about Pepperdine, for Pepperdine students. Tapings are every Wednesday at 9 a.m. For more details, contact goodmorningmalibu@gmail.com
“The Beacon” — “The Beacon” is a mockumentary sitcom that follows a student newspaper struggling to find its voice on campus. As the only monthly sitcom of its kind on a college campus, “The Beacon” is in its second season and premieres each of its episodes in Elkins Auditorium at the end of every month. If you would like to get involved on the production side or as an actor, please email beaconsitcom@gmail.com.
“The Gallery” — A brand new show this season showcases the art of life. It features new food, art and music around the LA and Malibu area. A few special guest stars will be visiting our show this season that include alumni, philanthropists and artists from our Pepperdine community.
Newswaves — NewsWaves is a twice-weekly news report that provides Pepperdine students the opportunity to gain invaluable real-world experience in producing a live telecast while simultaneously serving as the sole station catering to the Malibu and Calabasas area. Aside from faculty supervision, the program is entirely student run. The Pepperdine station covers local news ranging from weather, sports, business and entertainment, as well as updates the community on national and international concerns. The broadcast airs on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5 p.m. on Channel 32 in Malibu and Calabasas.
Buenas Noches Pepperdine — BNP is a news parody show in the same vein as “The Onion.” BNP tackles both true and fictional news stories and puts a comic twist on them that can often lead to the ridiculous. It is a fun and very flexible show that is looking for new ideas and new segments to help us bring the spice back to Buenas Noches. BNP shoots on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. with pitch meetings occurring on the weekends. If you would like to help, please contact Jeremy Hill at Jeremy.Hill@pepperdine.edu.
“The Randumb Show” — The longest standing show at Pepperdine, “The Randumb Show” is a sketch comedy show.
