Guards Tamara McDonald and Damaris Hinojosa combined for 26 points for the Waves in their win over St. Mary’s Forward Nadja Morgan had 13 rebounds in the winning effort. The next night, McDonald again led the Waves with 15 points spurring the Waves to victory over the USF Dons. Forward Keani Christianson chipped in 11 points and guard Shandrika Lee tossed in 10 points in the victory.

Four Waves were in double figures for kills in the Waves’ four-game victory over the USC Trojans. Opposite hitter Lance Walker had four aces along with 14 kills. In the five-game loss to UCI, outside hitter Fred Winters led the Waves with 23 kills while setter Beau Daniels dished out 66 assists. Against UCLA, Winters pounded down 26 kills and had two service aces in the three-game Pepperdine victory.

TOP PERFORMERS
Junior diver Michelle Barker swept the one- and three-meter diving events against LMU and San Diego at USD last Saturday. Sophomore Lindsey Krusen finished second in the 100 and 200 butterfly as well as placing third in the 200 individual medley. Sophomore Meghan Melton finished second in the 200 freestyle, getting touched out by .04 seconds. Melton also finished third in the 500 freestyle event to cap off a much improved day of swimming for the Waves.
