4.38% tuition hike slated for 2003-04

March 20, 2003 by Pepperdine Graphic

Seaver College students can expect a 4.38 percent rise in tuition for the 2003-04 academic year, bringing the full-time cost of attendance to $27,430 for fall and spring semesters, according to a memo released Tuesday by the office of Seaver College Dean David Baird.

The total cost, incuding on-campus housing in a double room with a standard 1,000-point meal plan will bring the total for tuition, room and board to $35,700, up 4.33 percent from last year’s $34,210. Not included in either total are outside costs, such as books, travel, and other personal needs. This cost includes $90 Student Government Association fee and an average of $1,600 for personal costs.

Tuition for graduate students as well as undergraduates who are enrolled part-time — less than 12 units — will rise to $855 per unit.
