On-Campus Housing Numbers Break Records as HRL Finds Ways to Adapt

Pepperdine’s Housing and Residence Life is facing capacity issues with a large incoming first-year class and a higher-than-normal number of sophomores staying in Malibu. Housing Director Robin Gore explained some of the problems and solutions the University is looking to implement for the fall.

Pepperdine moved 65 students receiving hardship housing in Drescher Campus Apartments on Sunday, April 11 following a COVID-19 outbreak on campus. The University experienced three linked outbreaks from March 25 to present, with over 30 students testing positive.

Recently Finished Remodel Revitalizes Lovernich

Lovernich Apartments underwent renovations over the summer with new finishes and fixtures following student feedback.
