The Brooklyn Nets selected Kessler Edwards No. 44 overall in the 2021 NBA Draft. Edwards made his NBA debut versus the Golden State Warriors on Nov. 16, 2021, where he became the first NBA player from Pepperdine since Alex Acker.

For the first time this semester, two of Pepperdine’s teams had to quarantine for 10 days due to COVID-19. Players from each team explained the reasons for the positive tests and when they’ll be cleared to play.
