Britta Steinbrenner, chief of Public Safety for the Department of Public Safety, stepped down from her role and left Pepperdine, Associate Vice President Ricky Eldridge wrote in a Jan. 19 email to the Graphic. Pepperdine Students Stay On Time by Hitchhiking

The act of traveling to class by getting free rides from passing cars is rapidly gaining traction on the Pepperdine campus. Since Pepperdine is a gated campus, some students said they feel safe getting rides from strangers.
