The 10th annual Savvy Chic fundraiser was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel yesterday. The event raised funds which keep the Boone Center for the Family at Pepperdine in service.

The center was founded in 1996 and endowed by longtime university supporters Pat and Shirley Boone in 2006.

According to the event page it was developed by the Friends of the Family League with the intention of promoting “the essential elements that enrich a woman’s life: family centered values shared and celebrated by women and their friends; healthy habits that enhance the beauty within; and a sense of self projected confidently through style and fashion.”

Students participated in the fashion show portion of the event, which also included a luncheon, silent auction and vendors. _____________________________________________________________________________
