Salads, Sandwiches, and Sweets Galore: Nicolas Eatery Opens as a Food Truck Along PCH

February 11, 2019 by Kayiu Wong

For organic salads, sandwiches and sweets, Malibu residents can stop by Nicolas Eatery’s food truck on PCH in front of the Malibu Sands Center.

Nicolas Eatery is set to open as a new restaurant in the center this summer, but owners Nicolas and Lucas Fanucci started their food truck outside the location to bring French-inspired foods to Malibu in the meantime.

“I just like to see people happy when they’re eating our food,” Lucas Fanucci said. “It’s the most fulfilling part.”

Nicolas Eatery serves fresh omelettes, burgers, crepes, and soups.

Pepperdine students can receive a 15 percent discount at the food truck with their student I.D. card.

The Fanuccis are waiting for required permits to go through before they can finish construction on the restaurant. Nicolas Eatery will feature indoor seating and a roof-top patio.

The Nicolas Eatery truck is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m and is located at 22333 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90265.
